About us
Ozolins Pottery is a family-founded ceramics studio, rooted in the traditions of Latvian ceramics.
Krists has been working with clay for more than 15 years, shaping vessels that are later fired in a traditional wood-fired kiln. He learned the craft from Master Evalds Vasilevskis (1953–2018), whose legacy continues to inspire his craft.
Arta has been working with clay, stoneware, and porcelain for over 10 years, creating both functional and decorative works. With a background in painting from the Art Academy of Latvia and textile design at Riga Design School, she brings an artistic eye and painterly detail into each piece.
Our studio is nestled in Oviši, Latvia — a quiet village along the Baltic Sea coastline. Surrounded by forests, small bogs, coastal dunes, and a wide pebble beach, our work is deeply inspired by this untouched natural beauty. Every vessel carries with it a fragment of this landscape — the calm of the sea, the rhythm of the forest, and the textures of nature that shape our daily lives.
Together, we create timeless ceramics that connect tradition, craftsmanship, and the beauty of the natural world.
